In the end..Its a group
I had a 50 marks group presentation 2day(FOSS)...And I was expectin a lot from myself..In fact I was almost ready to carry my group thru the presentation.. To make it short, wanted to be the hero of the grp...But then our turn came...My friend started well and gave us a good start...Then the second girl almost blew it up...1/2 of the class went to sleep...I saw the time...she had taken way too much of time...Then my turn came...
I thought of explaining everything and give example where ever necesssory...But decided that we have to perform well as a grp..So I shortened my 6 mins presentation to 4 mins so that the grp meets its time limit...In the end my 4th frnd concluded it the presentation in style...And we finished it in time...
People liked it...And surprisingly...our grp finished first with 41 marks...
It was surprising as none of our grp member is a damn good speaker in the class...but I think as a grp..we connected...Where as other speakers (Whom I admire), failed drastically coz of lack of grp support or becoz they were 1 man army...And for some of my frnds, it was a nightmare...And in the end they started blaming it on other members..
In the end it was a learning experience for me...It taught me that wenever ur in a grp, give first priority to the grp and not to urself...Secondly, If u perform badly, Dont blame it on other members....Coz in the end...ur grp failed...And even ur a part of it...
