Stage Fright...
Well...Will be giving a presentation in front of whole class in 3 days...So was just goin thru my past experience with public speaking...1985-1989: Never participated in anything...(BAH! First 4 years of my life)
1989: My first performance on stage..Well it was a grp performance...I was in Kindergarton...And we had to sing Twinkle Twinkle on stage...Although my performance was good...Not even a single word came out of my mouth...Was too scared to perform in front of audience and was too shy to perform in front of my parents..
1990-2002: Participated in no events...Never ever went on stage..Stage fright at its best...
2003: FYBSc:IT: PSD Lecture(Professional Skill Development)...Ma'am asked us to say something on a cricket match...I said 1 stupid line(I guess the headline) and sat down..where as we have to give full details bout it..Wen ma'am pointed me out I said I m not interested in cricket (Saw the full match that time)
2003: Never ever sat for PSD lecture after that..
2004: Ma'am asked me to give presentation on IT I guess...Was the worst presentation of my class...
2005: 2-3 more presentations I gave...Screwed up like hell..I remember once...sir asked us to say 1-2 lines on our project...And I ended up sayin.."Well...this is my project"..Class went beserk..
And once in MIS Group presentation...I had to say the conclusion...After superb performance by the first 3 members..I had to say 3 lines (Conclusion)...I said..Hello ma'am..Hello ma'am...Hello ma'am..(Blank..for 1 min)...class started laughing on me..Then Hello ma'am..Good morning ma'am..Thank u..
Ma'am gave our grp the lowest in our class coz i screwed up..
Final presentation...I had to present my own project to the external...I said stupid things..And he was assure that I didnt made that project (I wrote each and every code of it)..Got 161/200..Same project..my partner who didnt the anything..got 185/200..
My first interview..Direct I..I started bitchin bout my group frnds who got selected for that job..Just to avoid the normal questions asked in the interview..(Cant forget that day)
My second interview..Infosys..Didnt bitch bout any1...But I was assure that I wont be takin that job anyways..So I was really comfertable..And I made the interviewer laughed like hell with my crazy answers...Got the job...WOAH!
IMS (MBA Tuitions) First Group discussion of my life: Didnt spoke a word...Damn man..atleast I could have spoken something :\
2nd GD: Spoke a point or 2...Was satisfied...But sir wasnt..
CET GD in JBIMS: Wanted to speak but spoke no point...No1 allowed me to...And the pressure was on me...Got screwed..
MET GD for the course: Spoke 1 point...God screwed in that too...
2007: VJTI Presentation..CC...Gave a full presentation on Voice conferancing..Where I gave example of Alibaba and 40 theives...Every1 liked it...Gave me a lot of confidence..But wen I was giving my presentation..My legs were shaking like hell
VJTI (First sem): Participated in each and every lecture...And becoz of that all Teachers know me by my name...And Thank god for that..
VJTI (Second sem): PCS ma'am selected me for some kind of play...Actually I opted for it...Was awsm..Wasnt nervous at all..Even My legs werent shaking..
And now..This is my ultimate challenge...I have to give presentation on barriers to communication in front of whole class...This is my chance to show myself how good I m...And I can own the world if I wanna...
